Where to rent a villa in the Algarve?

Things to see and do in the algarve

Among the main things to see in the Algarve, Ponta da Piedade, near Lagos, stands out for its cliffs, arches and coves, best explored along the coastal paths or by boat. Further west, Sagres and Cape St Vincent open onto sweeping views over the Atlantic.

To the east, the Ria Formosa ranks among the region's great natural sites. A boat trip takes you through its lagoons and barrier islands, while Faro and Tavira are also worth visiting for their historic centres.
