Want to enjoy the sensational experience of a parachute jump and admire the Algarve from above? You must go to Alvor where you can, in all confidence, experience this magical moment. Whether this is your first jump or you are an experienced jumper, you will perform the supreme act of diving into the celestial azure of one of Europe's most beautiful regions.
Visit the coastal city of Alvor, just west of Portimão and east of Lagos and 40 minutes by car from Faro Airport. There, you have the choice between "Air Emotions Algarve" and "Skydive Algarve", both offer this wonderful experience of jumping into the sky from a high-speed turbine aircraft.
You can jump alone or with a professional. Of course, if this is your first jump, you will jump in tandem, i.e. hooked to your instructor who will ensure all the steps of the jump with the greatest professionalism while you can quietly enjoy the experience and admire the sublime sunny landscape.
Parachute jumping
You will make a free fall from 4600m (15,000ft), one of the highest skydiving altitudes in Portugal, but don't worry, you are in good hands. There are different options for jumping. In addition to the fact that you can jump in tandem if you have no experience in jumping, if you want to become a qualified skydiver, you can also take the accelerated freefall course.
If you are an experienced skydiver, you will enjoy the range of events, FS and FF training packages, skydiving lessons and beach jumps.
